About WhatDoIBuy.co.uk

WhatDoIBuy started as a kids' birthday-present finder and grew into a gift finder for everyone: mum, dad, partners, grandparents, teenagers, colleagues and the person who is impossible to buy for.

Every product on the site is a real Amazon UK listing. We pull the current price, star rating and review count, filter out the badly reviewed stuff, and rank what is left so the good picks float to the top. The editorial notes on each page (what to look for, how much to spend) are written by us, not generated from the listing.

How we make money

We are a member of the Amazon Associates programme. When you click through to Amazon and buy something, we earn a small commission. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not change which products we show: ranking is by rating and reviews.

How often is it updated?

Prices and ratings were last checked on 12 Oct 2026. Amazon prices move daily, so the price on the listing is always the one that counts.
